To enter the contest, please, oh please follow the RULES AND REGULATIONS located below and mail your drawing to our P.O. Box or via e-mail.

Please, please, please be sure to include your name and full address on your drawing somewheres (the back is ideal)! We DO NOT SAVE ENVELOPES, so please make sure to put your address on the picture! There have been MANY drawings that would have won had the artist merely written their address on the artwork, but since they didn't, I had no idea where to send the prize, so I had to pick another piece. So PLEASE make sure that you write your name and address on your picture and mail it to:

You can send your fan art file via e-mail providing you follow these rules:

(1) The file must be in a resolution of 72 DPI
(2) The file must not exceed 6 inches (432 pixels) at its largest dimension
(3) The file must be saved as either a .gif or .jpg
(4) You must include your mailing address in the body of the e-mail, because I need to know where to send the prize if you win.

RULES and REGULATIONS

1) The artwork must be an original composition! No copying or tracing! Have fun and be creative! This ain't rocket science... it's art! Throw some paint/ink around and have a good time!

2) The artwork must feature a character from the TMNT universe or a parody thereof. No original characters or characters not owned by Mirage Studios will be considered.

3) Artwork must be on a sheet of 8 1/2" X 11" paper or smaller. Color is preferred, but B&W is cool as well.

4) All ages are eligible! What I'm looking for are pieces that make me smile or elicit a "Wowza!" Simple, right? ;)

5) Keep either a copy of your artwork or the original piece. We can't return the one that you submit to us, be it the copy or the original... so send the one that you don't need to us!

6) No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Wipe your feet before entering.

7) Limit of one entry per person per month.

8) Artwork becomes the sole property of Mirage Studios.

9) Mirage Studios reserves the right to edit artwork to our specifications. Don't worry... this basically means that I'll shrink your work down and edit out some background elements to make the image load faster. I won't be censoring anything, as images that need to be censored will not be considered. It's a cruel, politically correct world out there... ;)

10) Mirage Studios is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.

11) All federal, state and local laws apply to this contest. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

12) The winners will be notified by mail (when the prize arrives, o' course).

13) No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted. I dunno why this rule exists, but it's part of the rules for every contest I've ever seen... if ya don't want the prize offered, why enter the contest in the first place? Whacky!

14) Any federal, state or local tax on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner and/or their parent/legal guardian.

15) Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name for advertising, trade purposes and promotional use without further compensation. We won't make an action figure out of you, however. :)

16) Please allow for a 6-8 week delay between seeing your drawing online and getting the prize! I'm only a part time employee here and I get behind on my chores much of the time. I usually only send out prizes once per month, so if you win in the early part of the cycle you've already got a 2 week delay to wait before I even start to put the prize envelopes together... I know it's a bummer, but time is wicked short here in the hallowed halls of Mirage Studios.

17) Mirage Studios reserves the right to change these rules at any time for any reason. This rule is an example of this policy. :)

18) Even if you "win" by having your work placed on the site, if we find out that it's not original (typically by being alerted by a sharp-eyed fan), it will be removed and you will not be awarded the prize.

COLLECTION OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

The only personal identifiable information about visitors to this Site collected electronically on this Site and maintained by Mirage is a visitor's name and e-mail address. This limited personal information is only collected if a visitor voluntarily provides such personal information in connection with the Site's Art Contest, Fan Mail and Fan Forum pages, Classified Ad submissions and Merchandise Orders. Any other information submitted electronically by a visitor is submitted voluntarily and is not maintained by Mirage.

Other personal information like addresses, telephone and fax numbers and credit card information is obtained only by mail or over the telephone, and only in relation to Art Contest and Merchandise Order submissions. This information is not maintained electronically by Mirage.

COLLECTION OF NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

When visitors come to the Site, Mirage collects and aggregates certain non-personally identifiable information indicating, among other things, which web pages were visited, the order in which they were visited, the length of the visit, and which links, if any, were "clicked" by the visitor.
